Our Brief
The school required a new website to bring together the two schools and provide information and resources to parents. The website should be simple and minimalistic in order to be accessible to parents and guardians of all technical abilities. The website should function as a single destination for parents to access all information, updates and forms from the school; as such all information on the site would have to be easily updated to keep it relevant.
Our Strategy
The relaunched website was designed to be clear and simple, with content built around four simple areas - School, News, Classes and Parents. Pages were created off of these areas to house all letters and newsletters sent out to parents. The website helped to form a part of the school's green agenda and enabled the school to cease handing out paper copies of their weekly newsletter to all students. The site was built on top of a CMS to allow office staff to keep pages updated at all times and upload new forms, documents and letters for parents to download. A Twitter feed was integrated into the home page to provide a stream of updates to parents, and to allow subscription to minor news and updates.
